When we are present with our emotions, we have increased awareness of our reactive patterns and greater skills to reduce overwhelm. We can then choose the behavior and reactions that are better aligned with who we truly are.

Join STAA and Jo Hafey for this new 5 week intensive online course, learning to integrate the wisdom of the 5 phases into our practice and life.

  • Connection and the opportunity for exchange with other practitioners
  • Opportunities for extended course work and a supervised study group
  • 10 CPE points for online course work with a certificate of course work and attendance
  • Sessions will be recorded and available for a limited time

What to expect:

Each week Jo will lead us on an exploration of the 5 elements and their archetypal interactions with the emotional families of Anger, Anxiety, Worry, Grief and Fear. This unique training will assist us to delve deeply into the meaning, importance and power of our own, and our clients, emotional wellbeing - guided by the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the 5 elements.

Course Summary:

  • Review and expand on the 5 elements for emotional wellbeing

  • Learn to recognise your own obstacles: "mind chatter", triggers and reactive patterns as they correlate to the elements

  • Practice releasing emotional tension with acupressure points

  • Gain therapeutic techniques and skills to use in your practice to assist clients with their own emotional growth and wellbeing

  • Opportunities to connect and share these practices with other practitioners

We look forward to engaging and learning more about our emotional responses.  Together we can gain skills to allow our practices to adapt and further meet our clients.
